KBS Corporate donates towards improvement of local playground

KBS Corporate recently donated to the Egerton Park Improvement Committee (EPIC), which was set up to improve Egerton Park and replace its current outdated and broken Children’s play equipment and the damaged play surface.
The park was a gift to the community by a local factory owner in 1914, and in its centenary year, EPIC is working tirelessly to raise the necessary funds for improvement to create a “vibrant, modern and stimulating play area for local children”.
David Greenahlgh, committee member, commented on the project: “The community of Egerton is like a family with the local park at its heart. The children have been involved in this bid from the outset, as have parents and grandparents. Without doubt, our community will be revitalised, encouraging more people to visit the park and on a more regular basis. If communities pull together, they can make a real difference to the areas where they live.”
