KBS Corporate raised a total of £500 that will go towards providing specialised palliative care to adults living with life-limiting illnesses.
Over 40 members of staff took part in a variety of fundraising activities including swapping suits for comedy jumpers, raffles containing some amazing prizes, cake sales and selling a variety of Bolton Hospice goodies.
The UK-wide brokerage firm even hosted their very own bring and buy sale which raised even more money.
Matthew Clancy, Operations Director at KBS Corporate, said: “At KBS we like to give back to the community as a way of saying thank you.
“We are proud to be supporting Bolton Hospice – a local cause where the staff and volunteers do a fantastic job in delivering their services to people who need it the most.
“We hope the money we’ve raised will make a difference and allow the hospice to continue providing their specialised care to people who are living with conditions that can be treated but not cured.”
Stephanie Lacaille, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Bolton Hospice said a huge thank you to the firm that has been established for almost 20 years.
She added: “From everybody at Bolton Hospice I’d like to say a big thank you to KBS Corporate’s efforts in raising such a fantastic amount of money. The generous donation will help patients to cope with both cancer and non-cancer illnesses.
“We have to raise £2.5m every year to run the hospice’s services and as we’re only able to fundraise in the Bolton area, we rely heavily on the support of businesses and individuals.
“We’ve thoroughly enjoyed being involved with a great business and hope to continue working with them again in the future.”
