KBS Corporate successfully completes the sale of Essex based S.J.H Row & Sons Ltd

KBS Corporate has helped to negotiate a deal for S.J.H. Row and Sons Ltd based in Manningtree, Essex.
Founded in 1880 by Joshua Row, Row & Sons was formed to produce hardwood cutting surfaces and butchers’ blocks. Originally in Topsham, Devon, the company and the family relocated around the turn of the twentieth century to Hoxton in North London. The company was incorporated in 1932 the business remained in London until 1967.
In recent years, Row & Sons has been operating from a modern facility in Manningtree, Essex, allowing them to develop their production techniques and service to customers. Due to the heritage and high quality product, the company has gained an international reputation for manufacturing high quality, professional food cutting surfaces.
The acquirer, Partwell Group, is a leading plastic engineering company based in Blackburn, Lancashire. Founded in 1979, Partwell are a family owned group that specialise in cutting technology – supplying CNC machined plastic parts, water jet cutting services, food cutting surfaces and many other engineered plastic products. The acquisition completed 13th May 2014.
