Confidentiality is a key consideration and is very much the cornerstone of our service.
When entering this process some of our clients can be concerned about their staff, customers, suppliers and competitors potentially finding out that their company is for sale. Our processes and systems are designed and proven to prevent such problems occurring. Our staff are fully trained in all aspects of maintaining discretion and confidentiality, from the moment we first speak, to the day your transaction completes.
Non Disclosure Agreements
All interested parties are required to sign an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) before they view any confidential information. We will obtain, where possible, information to allow KBS Corporate and yourselves to make an informed decision as to the suitability of the potential buyer, for example:
- the company size, profile and activities
- their capability to fund the transaction
- their rationale for considering the acquisition
- any acquisitions that they have made previously
Levels of Confidentiality
Based on the information supplied and obtained, KBS Corporate will make an informed decision on whether or not we feel that they are a suitable purchaser for your company and whether further information should be released to them.
This level puts you firmly in control of who has access to your company’s sensitive commercial information.
Once the NDA has been signed and the relevant information on the prospective buyer collated, we will seek your authority before sending them any confidential information.
Prospective purchasers will not be provided with any sensitive or confidential information unless you authorise it.
