‘Around the World in 30 Days’ Charity Challenge
Starting on the 13th of January 2022 our Group will be taking part in the ‘Around the World in 30 Days Challenge’.
Starting on the 13th of January 2022 our Group will be taking part in the ‘Around the World in 30 Days Challenge’. This will see more than 500 employees across all our companies trying to cycle, row, run and swim 25,000 miles collectively. For every mile we accomplish the Group has pledged £1, which means if we complete the challenge, we will raise £25,000 for charity.
This will involve employees not only completing miles on their own but as groups. For example, Knight Corporate Finance will be cycling from their offices in the North West to their headquarters in London. KBS Corporate Operations and Sales team will be hiking up Rivington Pike and Moses Gate Country Park in Bolton.
As a Group we have selected a wide range of charities to benefit including Alder Hey Children’s Charity, NSPCC, Mind, We See Hope and Bowel Cancer UK.
John Rigby, K3 Capital Group chief executive, said: “Everyone at the group is excited and motivated to raise as much money as possible for these fantastic charities.
“Covid has restricted our ability to run the usual office-based appeals with many of our staff working remotely, and so we wanted to organise something that allows them to take part from wherever they are, while also getting fitter, healthier, and ready to take on 2022.”
