Bird & Pest Solutions acquired by Rollins

Bird and Pest Solutions Ltd has joined global pest control group Rollins Inc. in a deal overseen by Oliver Rigby, KBS Corporate Deal Executive.

Founded in 2008, the Kent-based company has built an enviable reputation for providing expert, professional and ethical bird and pest control services in its home county and London for residential and commercial clients.

The shareholders of Bird and Pest Solutions instructed KBS Corporate to facilitate a sale of the company which would enable them to pursue alternative, unrelated ventures.

The successful offer was made by North American pest control giant Rollins Inc, an Atlanta-based conglomerate which operates via a range of wholly owned subsidiaries in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Among those subsidiaries is Orkin, in whose UK division Bird and Pest Control Solutions has joined 11 other companies. Those companies are being streamlined into four business sectors under the supervision of Kristian Dales, Managing Director of Orkin UK.

“Through a series of acquisitions, the group of Orkin companies is now one of the top three pest control businesses in the UK, a fact that may surprise many industry observers,” said Kristian Dales.

“The potential for growth through further acquisitions, the development of specialist divisions and better business integration is huge.”
