GB Hoses acquired by Fluiconnecto

GB Hoses, a Salford-based hydraulic hose replacement and maintenance provider, has been sold to Fluiconnecto UK in a deal advised on by KBS Corporate.

Established in 2000 by Graham Lomax, GB Hoses provides rapid response across the Greater Manchester area and beyond to urgent industrial hose breakdowns, utilising mobile workstations capable of meeting any client’s needs.

Offering a 24-hour service with the vast majority of call-outs attended within one hour, the company also has a trade counter featuring an extensive range of high-quality fittings, valves and couplings, along with hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial components.

With Luke Rae, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, overseeing the transaction, GB Hoses was sold to Fluiconnecto UK – a subsidiary in the Service Division of multinational corporation Manuli Ryco.

Established in 1935 and with its headquarters in Milan, Manuli Ryco is a pioneer in the manufacturing and servicing of mission-critical fluid power solutions for high pressure mobile power, refrigeration and oil and marine applications.

Fluiconnecto, its Service Division, operates in more than 30 countries around the world, with the UK enterprise encompassing a number of hydraulic hose retail outlets and mobile maintenance units throughout England.
