Following a hugely successful maiden year as an AIM-listed company, the flotation of KBS Corporate’s parent company, K3 Capital Group plc, has been nominated for IPO of the Year at the 2018 Grant Thornton Quoted Company Awards.
The award ceremony acknowledges and honours the significant contribution that the small-cap community makes to the larger UK economy.
The awards are open to the 1,000 plus companies which are quoted on AIM, to companies with a full listing which are not members of the FTSE 350.
Previous winners of IPO of the Year include software firm Blue Prism, bakery Patisserie Holdings, and online trading provider, Plus500. The 2016 IPO of the Year, tonic water manufacturer and supplier, Fever-Tree Drinks, is now valued at almost £2 billion and has observed a 160% rise in its share price following its win.
Being shortlisted for such a prestigious award commemorates an exciting period in K3 Capital Group’s history, in which the company has witnessed almost a 150% increase in price per share, rising from £0.95 per share upon admittance to a closing figure of £2.35 per share as at 30th January 2018.
Other companies vying for various accolades at this year’s ceremony, such as Company of the Year, Broker of the Year and PR Firm of the Year, include fashion house Boohoo.com, travel retailer On the Beach, and AIM Broker, finnCap.
