KBS Corporate advise on the Management Buy In of Andrews Computer Services Ltd

KBS Corporate is delighted to announce news of its latest deal completion, Hertfordshire based Andrews Computer Services Ltd, who have been acquired in a Management Buy In.

Established in 1986, this personable business offers the installation, management, and maintenance of SME I.T. systems, specialising in Sage products. Andrews has a high profile dealer status with leading brands including Microsoft, HP, Epson and Canon, boasts a diverse and loyal client base, and has retained a stable turnover and profits throughout its trading history.

In a Management Buy In which completed in July 2013, buyer Tamal Saha acquired 66% of the shares of Andrews, allowing husband and wife director team Paul and Rachel Andrews to relocate to Cornwall. The remaining shareholder, Technical Director Adam Painter, will retain his existing shareholding and will remain with the business, assisting new owner Tamal with the continued growth and development of Andrews, and drawing upon the skills of the highly committed workforce who will also remain in place.

Neil Leach, Corporate Manager at KBS Corporate who advised Andrews in this transaction, comments “Tamal was attracted to Andrews as it offered an ideal foundation for rapid expansion provided by high levels of investment and ongoing strategic acquisitions. My clients had an instant rapport with Tamal from the very first meeting, which, combined with his background within the industry as Managing Director for a similar business, gave them confidence and reassurance in disposal of their shareholding to him. The transaction was pleasant and straightforward, with all parties fully comfortable at all stages ensuring a swift completion. I offer my warmest wishes to Paul and Rachel as they start their new life in Cornwall, and to Mr Saha as he embarks on his ambitious growth plan for the business.”
