KBS SHORTLISTED FOR INSIDER CENTRAL & EAST DEALMAKERS AWARD

A business sale overseen by KBS Corporate has been shortlisted for the Insider Central & East of England Dealmakers Awards 2023.

The ceremony will take place in Milton Keynes on November 9, with 12 awards up for grabs as the achievements of the region’s leading financial and professional service providers are placed in the spotlight.

The award category in which we have been nominated is Private Equity/Venture Capital Deal of the Year, for the management buyout of London Drainage Facilities Ltd which was backed by YFM Equity Partners.

London Drainage Facilities qualifies for the Central & East region as it is based in Ongar, Essex.

Jay Singh, KBS Corporate Finance Director, advised on the sale of London Drainage Facilities, which specialises in the provision of commercial drainage solutions, serving clients across England’s capital city and the surrounding areas.

Having identified YFM Equity Partners as a suitable investor, Jay said after the deal had been completed: “The YFM investment allows the shareholders to de-risk, but also retain a significant equity stake.

“Furthermore, partnering with YFM will ensure the business continues to grow and achieve its full potential in its next stage of development.”

The inclusion on the shortlist for this award follows two nominations at Insider’s North West Dealmakers Awards, in the Mid-Market Corporate Finance Team of the Year and the Emerging Dealmaker of the Year categories.

The recognition comes after a record financial year in which we achieved unprecedented results for the benefit of clients across the UK.
