Network Power Connections (NPC) has become the second company sold by KBS Corporate to leading European technical services group TSG within six months.

Founded in 2019 and based in Worcester, NPC delivers complex grid connections and electrical infrastructure projects at voltages of up to 11kV, providing specialist capability across commercial, industrial and grid developments.

The company’s experienced team operates nationwide, supporting commercial and industrial developments, warehousing and EV charging hubs, and has built long-standing relationships with a diversified customer base.

Network Power Connections has been sold to French group TSG, the European leader in technical services for responsible mobility solutions and essential energy infrastructure. TSG also acquired multi-utility specialist Powertek in a KBS-advised transaction less than six months earlier.

The deal will enable TSG to further strengthen its power connection capabilities in the UK and expand its ability to deliver turnkey electrical solutions for commercial, industrial and EV charging projects.

TSG envisages Network Power Connections cooperating closely with another of its UK teams, Birmingham-based Skerritt Electrical.

“Part of our ambition to provide full integrated electrical solutions for essential energy infrastructures all over Europe, the acquisition of Network Power Connections marks a new step in the strengthening of our electrical infrastructure activities in the UK,” said Jean-Marc Bianchi, TSG’s CEO.

“NPC brings recognised grid connection expertise, NERS-accredited capabilities and experienced teams able to deliver complex projects across the country.

“By joining TSG, its teams will strengthen our ability to provide integrated energy solutions combining power connections, electrical infrastructure, EV charging, solar and battery storage, while creating strong synergies with Skerritt Electrical and our wider UK operations.”

The transaction was led by George Barnes, Associate Director at KBS Corporate, with Fahad Latif, Transaction Associate. Legal advice to the shareholders was provided by Poppy Ball and the team at K3 Law.

George Barnes commented: “NPC is a highly regarded business with specialist expertise in power connections and electrical infrastructure. TSG represented a strong strategic fit and provides an excellent platform for the business to continue its growth as part of a wider European group.

“It was a pleasure working with the shareholders and TSG to get the transaction completed.”
