AMPCS acquired by Calibre Scientific

Analytical solutions company AMPCS Ltd has been sold to Calibre Scientific, a diversified global provider of life science tools and diagnostics, in a deal advised upon by KBS Corporate.

AMPCS, based near Maldon, Essex, supplies cost-effective, reliable and responsive solutions for organisations which depend on analytical instruments to produce real-time data from production processes and quality-control laboratories.

With clients in sectors including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, animal feeds and agriculture, AMPCS works with a variety of manufacturers to meet customer requirements as well as providing unbiased, independent service. The company, which was incorporated in 2007, serves customers across the UK, Ireland and internationally.

Calibre Scientific represents a portfolio of life sciences tools and diagnostic companies, across various key verticals, that have an unrivalled ability to address the unique challenges of their respective markets. Through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth, its global reach extends to more than 175 countries, empowering customers all over the world.
