Callisto acquired by ProductLife Group

Callisto’s sale to ProductLife Group forms a “powerful alliance”
Callisto, a leading UK pharmaceutical consultancy, has been sold to ProductLife Group (PLG) in a deal advised upon by Jay Singh, KBS Corporate Finance Director.
Founded in 2003, Callisto has a strategic geographical presence in both the UK and Ireland, headquartered in Lockington, Leicestershire and with a second office close to Dublin Airport.
Specialising in regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance and GMDP (good manufacturing and distribution practice) services in multiple regulated sectors, Callisto serves more than a hundred clients with over 85% repeat business, demonstrating the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
The sectors in which Callisto operates include human, veterinary and herbal medicines, food supplements, medical devices, biocides and borderline products.
PLG is a global leader in regulatory, scientific, compliance and digital transformation consulting services for the life sciences industry, and the acquisition of Callisto further enhances the Group’s presence in the UK.
Callisto’s services perfectly align with PLG’s core business areas, allowing for significant synergies and growth opportunities, while the combined capabilities of the two companies enable end-to-end regulatory solutions designed to streamline development, market entry and compliance strategies across global markets.
“This partnership marks a new important milestone in our growth journey,” said Joanne Bunyan, Managing Director and a co-founder of Callisto.
“As Callisto integrates with PLG, we are forging a powerful alliance in the regulatory arena, bringing our regulatory, GMP and compliance expertise to a broader audience, while still delivering high-quality service to our clients in the UK and Europe.”
Xavier Duburcq, CEO of PLG, commented: “PLG and Callisto joining forces offers great potential to our complementary client bases and will contribute to the successful development of our operations and business in the UK.
“Our positive cultures and values are very well-matched and expanding PLG in this region with the similarly motivated team at Callisto should bring exciting opportunities for all.”
KBS Corporate’s Jay Singh was delighted to bring the transaction to a successful conclusion for both Callisto and PLG.
