Harrold-Jones Services acquired by Ventro Group

Ventro alliance delivers a breath of fresh air to HJS
Long-established fire, security and MEP company Harrold-Jones Services (HJS) has joined Ventro Group in a transaction advised by KBS Corporate and K3 Law.
Established and incorporated in 1979, Birmingham-based HJS is a respected provider of electrical, security, fire safety and building refurbishment services, including HVAC and plumbing.
With support from Fabio Rambelli and George Barnes, KBS Corporate Associate Directors, HJS explored the best route to continue the company’s growth whilst safeguarding its defining values, service excellence and trusted relationships.
The successful outcome saw HJS join Ventro Group, a UK leader in fire safety and building compliance which delivers surveying, installation, maintenance and compliance management services across a wide range of sectors.
Founded in Plymouth and operating nationwide, Ventro’s mission is to provide end-to-end compliance solutions which ensure buildings are safe, compliant and future-ready.
“Joining Ventro Group provides an incredible opportunity to enhance the service we provide to our customers,” said Brian Rowley, Managing Director of HJS. “Our customers will benefit from the continuity of our dedicated team but also from Ventro’s extensive expertise, innovative systems and processes, and full suite of compliance services.
“This partnership ensures our customers and staff can rely on a company capable of supporting their evolving needs today and beyond.”
Ventro customers will also benefit from HJS’s specialist electrical, security and building refurbishment expertise, enhancing the overall service offering across the UK.
Harvey Melvin, CEO of Ventro Group, described the collaboration as an “exciting milestone” for Ventro Group, commenting: “This is a strategic acquisition to expand on our existing electrical and security offering, further improving our industry-leading expertise and experience.
“HJS’s commitment to quality means we can deliver even greater value to our clients, helping us achieve our goal of becoming the UK’s leading and most trusted building compliance partner.”
In announcing the transaction, HJS expressed their “sincere gratitude to their advisers for their valuable guidance and support throughout the process”, specifically naming Fabio Rambelli and George Barnes and the team from our fellow K3 Capital Group company K3 Law – Khurshid Valli (Managing Director), Rachel Bailey (Corporate Solicitor) and Cameron Minifie (Corporate Paralegal).
Fabio Rambelli commented: “It was a pleasure to work on this project and we wish all parties the best of luck going forward.”
