Awarded 2U acquired by Teqnion
Trophy maker becomes Teqnion’s latest prize
A manufacturer of prestigious awards and trophies has become the sixth business sold to Swedish industrial group Teqnion with the help of company sales specialist KBS Corporate.
Awarded 2U, based in Herefordshire, is a UK-leading provider of custom-made awards to corporate clients. The company handles every step of its high-quality manufacturing process in-house, from design through to final production.
Founded in 2004, and having achieved a strong reputation for its customer-centric focus, long-proven reliability, and creativity, Awarded 2U has worked with a vast range of corporate clients including the BBC, BP, Easyjet, Vauxhall, Siemens and John Smith’s.
Its products have been presented to recipients at the British Grand Prix, Invictus Games and Pride of Britain Awards, while Awarded 2U has also provided medals and trophies to the Football Association and Premier League.
In a transaction led by Jacob Lord, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, Awarded 2U joined Stanwell Group, Surge Protection Devices, Nubis Solutions, Avelair and UK Lanyard Makers in joining the Teqnion group since May 2023.
Debbie Jackson, who founded Awarded 2U, will continue to run the company as CEO, aiming to build on its average revenue for the last three years of around £2.5m with robust margins.
