Penntech acquired by Dynamic Networks Group
KBS praised for “very impressive” work during Penntech sale
KBS Corporate has been lauded for providing an “exceptional” service during the sale of Penntech IT Solutions to Dynamic Networks Group, backed by Kingland Capital.
Five-star reviews on TrustPilot from both Penntech and the acquirer side of the transaction praised the “exceptional” and “very impressive” work of KBS Corporate’s Jacob Lord (Deal Executive) and Jack Tyldsley (Transaction Support Executive).
A leading London-based IT managed services provider, Penntech was founded by Lewis Pennell in 2017 and has developed strong, long-standing relationships with clients across a diverse range of sectors.
Lewis, Penntech’s Managing Director, remains with the business as it now integrates with Leeds-based Dynamic Networks, which was seeking to expand its geographical footprint.
“After more than eight years of running a successful IT business, it was the right time for me and the company to benefit from being part of a larger group, able to service a wider customer base with an extended portfolio of IT business solutions,” said Lewis.
“We deliberated hard over the best suitor for integrating our company and Dynamic Networks were a logical fit for us with their focus on putting the customer first, their quality of service and similarly strong company values.
“There are exciting times ahead for our staff and customers and I very much look forward to working with the Dynamic team in the months and years ahead.”
Lewis also hailed the “exceptional” support KBS Corporate had given Penntech as the transaction progressed.
“I couldn’t be more impressed with the exceptional service provided by the team at KBS, especially Jacob Lord and Jack Tyldsley,” said Lewis in his five-star Trustpilot review. “From start to finish, they were consistently available, incredibly efficient and impressively knowledgeable.
“Jacob and Jack guided me through every stage of the process with professionalism and clarity, making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and well-managed. Their responsiveness and attention to detail gave me complete confidence that I was in safe hands.
“Thanks to their dedication and expertise, the sale was completed successfully and with minimal disruption. I highly recommend KBS to any business owner considering a sale – their team truly goes above and beyond.”
Those comments were seconded by Paul Landsman, founder of Kingland Capital, which backed Dynamic Networks in its acquisition of Penntech.
In a separate five-star review, Paul wrote: “Jacob Lord at KBS was very professional, responsive and commercial in all interactions. He understood all the key matters of the transaction and was helpful in achieving the end goal – which was to complete the transaction. Would recommend to any business owner.”
Regarding the appeal of bringing Penntech into the Dynamic Networks Group, Paul commented: “The acquisition of Penntech is the continuation of our strategic journey to create a market leader in IT Managed Services.
“The business was acquired in a competitive sales process and is a clear indicator of the targeted growth strategy at Dynamic since our backing in October 2023.”
Gareth Leece, Managing Director of Dynamic Networks, commented: “Penntech is a strong strategic fit with Dynamic, strengthening our suite of market-leading software and hardware solutions that help SMEs maximise their benefits from IT solutions.
“We are thrilled to have gained a London presence through this acquisition. We have enjoyed working with Lewis and the overall team in recent months and we look forward to growing alongside the very talented team at Penntech.”
