Station10 embarks on exciting European journey after sale to SQLI

European expansion is in store for London-based data and AI specialist Station10 following its sale to French customer experience and digital transformation services group SQLI.

Founded in 2011, Station10 is a business data analysis company which works with clients across a variety of sectors to strategise and drive positive change.

The company has built its reputation in retail, travel, financial services and the public sector, working with organisations across complex data and digital environments.

Station10, whose clients include Vue, the British Army, Greene King, Wella, Allianz and Legal & General, will continue to trade under its current name, with its leadership team remaining in place.

The sale, in a deal advised by Tom Eatough, KBS Corporate Associate Director, and Olivia Stones, Corporate Transaction Analyst, builds on two years of collaboration between the companies, reflecting the growing role of data platforms, AI, personalisation and real-time measurement in large-scale CX and commerce programmes.

For Station10’s clients, the deal provides access to SQLI’s broader delivery footprint across Europe and the Middle East.

“We’ve built real depth and knowledge in data, customer insight and advanced analytics in the UK,” explained David Ellis, Founder and Managing Director of Station10.

“Joining SQLI gives us the platform to take that expertise across Europe on larger, more complex programmes, while staying close to the clients and work that has built our reputation.”

The acquisition adds deeper strength to SQLI in data strategy, analytics, engineering and customer intelligence expertise – areas which are becoming more central to digital investment, customer journeys and performance.

“This isn’t about adding another capability, it’s about deepening the role data and AI play across everything we deliver,” said Erwin Le Duff, CEO of SQLI.

“Station10 brings consultancy and analytical strength to help clients better understand and activate their data, their customers and the drivers behind performance.”
