New door opens for Unique Door Panels with Teqnion

Unique Door Panels, which designs and manufactures composite and solid doors and distributes uPVC door infill panels, has become the 11^th company sold by KBS Corporate to Teqnion in just over three years.

Founded in 2004 and based in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, Unique Door Panels combines in-house manufacturing with a highly personal made-to-order service. The company serves customers across the North West of England.

With a strong reputation for quality and reliability across the double glazing industry, the company has more than 100 active and repeat clients and over 20 employees. Unique Door Panels has established itself as a trusted supplier in its market, generating average annual revenue of close to £3.8million with robust margins over the last three years.

In a deal advised by KBS Corporate Deal Executives Luke Rae and Oliver Rigby, Unique Door Panels has joined the ever-growing portfolio of Swedish industrial group Teqnion.

Andy Jones, Managing Director of Unique Door Panels, will continue to run the company with the support of the Teqnion team, including Daniel Zhang, CXO.

“Finding the right home for the business and the people who built it mattered more to me than anything else, and in Teqnion we have found it,” said Andy.

“Daniel and I see things the same way and I’m looking forward to taking the company further with the Teqnion team behind us. It’s a new chapter for us and I have every confidence it will be a good one.”
