In a transaction advised by Charlie Neville, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, Thermofuse was acquired by Cullum Group, based in Heanor, Derbyshire, an engineering business with operations across the UK and US.
Cullum Group comprises six subsidiaries, with the acquisition of Thermofuse strengthening its capabilities in the water and industrial sectors.
Paul Hurst, Managing Director of Thermofuse, commented: “As the business moves to the next phase of its growth and expansion, we are delighted to join Cullum Group and look forward to where the next stage of this journey takes us.”
Cullum Group continues to pursue acquisitions as part of its wider growth strategy.
“We support critical infrastructure products and services across several diverse sectors. Thermofuse’s technical offering and culture complement this, both in its ability to scale for larger and complex projects as well as offering urgent support to its customer base,” said Mark Jansen, Managing Director of Cullum Group.
“We look forward to working with the incumbent management team to support the business’s growth strategy.”
KBS Corporate’s Charlie Neville expressed thanks to Mackrell LLP for their legal work which “ensured such a smooth and efficient process”.
