RHT Lifting Equipment can fulfil its “vast potential” as part of Falcon Group following the company’s sale, advised by KBS Corporate.

Founded in 2006 and based in Watton, Norfolk, RHT has developed a strong reputation as a specialist supplier of lifting and height safety equipment, including harnesses, slings, trolleys, helmets and more.

The business has built an established and loyal customer base numbering approximately 9,000, predominantly throughout the UK but also across the globe.

In a transaction advised by Charlie Neville, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, RHT was sold to Falcon Group, which is based in Thetford, Norfolk and is the UK’s largest supplier of tower cranes.

Along with its tower cranes division, Falcon also offers contract lifting operations, freight, power generation and fabrication services.

Michelle Harwood and Hannah Smith, Directors of RHT Lifting Equipment, are remaining with the company to play a key role in the expansion plans following the acquisition. RHT will continue to operate under its established name and identity.

“RHT is a very well-established business with an excellent reputation, a loyal customer base and vast potential for further growth, especially alongside Falcon Group,” said Steve Gray, General Manager of Falcon Group.

“Our intention is not to change what has made the business successful, but to build on those foundations.

“By combining the knowledge, experience and customer relationships already established with additional resources, manufacturer relationships and wider industry experience, we believe there is a significant opportunity to grow the business while maintaining the service and relationships that have been central to its success.

“For customers, the key message is continuity. The business will remain one they know and trust, with the added benefit of greater resources, broader manufacturer relationships and access to an even wider range of products.”

The acquisition represents an important step in Falcon Group’s wider strategy to diversify and expand its activities within the lifting equipment sector.

“This is a long-term investment for the Group, with Michelle and Hannah continuing as Directors and bringing their extensive knowledge and experience to the business,” added Steve Gray.

“Building on its more than 20-year history, we see a strong opportunity to develop the business further and build on its success for the next 20 years and beyond.”

KBS Corporate’s Charlie Neville expressed his thanks to everyone involved in the transaction “for their efficiency in making the deal happen within the desired timeframe”.
