Chilled Heat finds its new home with Waterhouse

HVAC company Chilled Heat has been sold to an investment-backed electrical and engineering firm in a transaction advised upon by KBS Corporate.

Chilled Heat, which has traded since 2007, is based in Weston-super-Mare and specialises in the installation, servicing and repair of air conditioning, catering and refrigeration systems.

Richard Dibble, the founder and owner of Chilled Heat, instructed KBS to sell the company as a step towards his retirement plans.

The opportunity generated substantial interest, largely from trade acquirers, with the successful offer made by Waterhouse Electrical & Engineering Services, also located in Weston-super-Mare.

Waterhouse, a provider of a comprehensive range of mechanical and electrical facilities maintenance services throughout the West Country, is backed by equity investment from Canonbury Group which has helped to accelerate its growth ambitions.

Chilled Heat has been integrated into Waterhouse’s service offering through its Specialist Catering division.

Charles Needham, KBS Corporate Transaction Adviser, commented: “I had a good working relationship with the client and was happy to see him achieve a sale.”

The work of Lorna Anderson, KBS Corporate Document Writer, was praised by Charles in producing marketing materials which impressively presented the opportunity for Chilled Heat to potential buyers.
