GS Associates acquired by Excellerate

Glasgow-based professional cleaning and support services specialist GS Associates (GSA) has been sold to Excellerate in a transaction overseen by KBS Corporate Finance.

GSA, established in 1997, has some of the UK’s most prestigious operators in the retail, distribution centre and roadside services sector among its clients.

Excellerate Services UK (ESUK), which is part of the broader Excellerate Group, delivers cleaning and security services across the UK and Ireland and is now positioned to expand its national footprint.

The acquisition means the enlarged company can not only continue to execute on its current strengths, but also build on its solid existing customer base in the corporate built environment, high-end retail, distribution & logistics and manufacturing industries.

Additionally, it offers the possibility of leveraging multiple best practices and industry-leading technology through the Velocity platform, to ensure a more dynamic operating model with the use of demand-led technology to deliver data-driven service delivery.
