J. Hall & Son acquired by C.Adams

Neighbouring fastener companies form closer attachment
J. Hall & Son has been sold, in a deal advised upon by KBS Corporate, to a fastener manufacturer based just three miles away in the West Midlands.
Trading since 1947, J.Hall stocks and distributes a wide range of fasteners for a variety of commercial sectors across the UK, including electrical, gas and engineering.
To facilitate retirement plans for all of the Walsall company’s shareholders, KBS was instructed to oversee a sale – with the buyer located literally just down the B4200 in Wednesbury.
Despite J.Hall’s extensive history, C.Adams has been established much longer, since 1806, originally having been a saddle-maker in England’s industrial heartland, the Black Country.
The modern-day business manufactures high-quality nuts, washers and industrial fasteners for any project, which are tested and certified in house.
An existing relationship between the two companies helped Oliver Rigby, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, to complete a successful transaction.
“I’m satisfied with the sale and had a good relationship with our client, so I was pleased to get the deal over the line,” said Oliver.
Thanks also to Carmen Wong, KBS Corporate Document Writer, for producing the marketing documentation for the opportunity.
