Site-Eye envisions future success with Survey Solutions
Leading construction time-lapse camera specialist Site-Eye has an “exciting opportunity” to build on more than two decades of success after being sold to Survey Solutions.
Formed in 2002 and based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, with a second office in Brighton, Site-Eye has earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction time-lapse cameras, filming and media production services.
The company provides site monitoring systems for projects across the UK and internationally in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Site-Eye has worked on prestigious construction and infrastructure projects, including major football and rugby stadiums, Thameslink, Crossrail (Elizabeth Line) and airport terminals.
In a transaction advised by Dylan Bennett, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, Site-Eye was sold to Survey Solutions, which previously acquired JWG Survey & Engineering through KBS in October 2024.
Survey Solutions operates from 14 regional offices across the UK, including its recently relocated headquarters in Birmingham, and employs more than 250 people, with the majority being surveyors and monitoring technicians.
Gareth Evans-McClave, Site-Eye’s Managing Director and co-founder, will remain with the business, ensuring continuity for clients while helping to drive continued service development.
“We’ve built a fantastic reputation over the past 24 years by delivering high-quality time-lapse and construction monitoring services to clients across the UK,” said Gareth.
“Joining Survey Solutions is an exciting opportunity for our business, our team and our clients, enabling us to build on that success while becoming part of a larger group that shares our commitment to quality and customer service.”
Gareth also posted an online review praising the work done during the transaction by KBS Corporate’s Dylan Bennett and fellow K3 Advisory Group company K3 Tax Advisory.
“Dylan Bennett provided a great service and was proactive in pushing the buyers along when things were bogging down,” wrote Gareth.
“He also worked well with K3 Tax Advisory, which made the whole process easier. On top of that, Dylan was always friendly and easy to work with.”
The acquisition complements Survey Solutions’ existing monitoring portfolio, creating a broader, integrated service offering for clients in infrastructure, utilities, commercial development, residential construction and the wider built environment.
“Site-Eye is a well-established business with an excellent reputation and highly complementary expertise,” said David Love, Survey Solutions’ CEO.
“We look forward to welcoming Gareth and the team to Survey Solutions as we continue to grow our business and deliver market-leading survey and monitoring solutions across the UK.”
