2DB acquired by BoscaSports

2DB onto a winner in strategic sale to BoscaSports
Digital signage software and video streaming specialist 2DB has been sold to BoscaSports in a transaction advised by KBS Corporate.
Formed in 1998 and based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, 2DB predominantly serves the sports betting industry, providing and installing software for a range of environments including racecourses, betting shops and kiosks, casinos and bars.
The company operates internationally and has supplied integrated video streaming and real-time data solutions to major global brands across the gaming industry, having established a trusted reputation for reliability, technical depth and long-standing expertise.
Its Dublin-based acquirer, BoscaSports, also operates in the retail sports betting space, delivering digital solutions to over 7,000 screens in the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Caribbean.
“This acquisition is transformational for BoscaSports,” commented Eugene Mitchell, CEO of BoscaSports. “Combining our capabilities with 2DB’s integrated video streaming and data solutions significantly enhances our technology stack, our distribution reach and the value we can deliver to racecourses, operators and bettors worldwide.”
Racecourse Media Group (RMG), a minority investor in BoscaSports since its inception in 2018, has increased its investment to support the transaction and ensure the business is well-resourced for future innovation.
“BoscaSports has been a trusted partner from day one and we are delighted to support this acquisition,” said Nick Mills, CEO of RMG. “Ensuring the sustainability of our investment and enabling BoscaSports to deliver long-term, market-leading solutions is important for the entire racing ecosystem and delivers increased shareholder value to our racecourses.”
