Aberdeen Alarm acquired by ENTRO Group

Continuity secured for AAC founders in strategic ENTRO partnership
Aberdeen Alarm Company (AAC), a leading security systems provider, has joined forces with a German-based group in a deal focused on “partnership and continuity”.
Founded in 2007 by Philip Lever and Gordon Brooks, AAC has grown into a trusted fire and security business with more than 50 employees, and locations in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh.
The company delivers the design, installation, servicing and maintenance of integrated fire detection and alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control solutions, with long-standing customer relationships built on technical competence and reliability.
In a transaction advised by KBS Corporate’s Jacob Lord (Associate Director) and Jack Tyldsley (Corporate Transaction Executive), AAC has partnered with ENTRO Service Group upon its strategic entry into the UK market.
With ENTRO’s model based on partnership and continuity, AAC will retain its brand, leadership and operational responsibility, while benefiting from collaboration within the wider group and access to structured support.
The partnership with ENTRO – which is backed by Levine Leichtman Capital Partners – represents a growth-driven collaboration aimed at expanding AAC’s footprint across the wider UK market, while preserving its entrepreneurial culture and regional strengths.
“We were looking for a partner who understands our market and values long-term relationships,” explained AAC founder Philip Lever. “ENTRO provides strategic clarity and operational support, while allowing us to continue leading the business and building on our strong position in Scotland.”
Claudio Tubach, ENTRO’S Managing Director, commented: “AAC is a strong founder-led business with an excellent reputation and deep customer relationships.
“Our role is to support its next chapter – providing succession where needed and enabling growth where there is clear ambition. We are building a strong UK group rooted in local excellence, collaboration and long-term commitment.”
Claudio posted an online 5-star review in which he praised the work of Jacob and Jack at KBS, describing a “very positive experience throughout”.
“From the initial contact through due diligence and completion, they were consistently helpful, pragmatic and responsive,” wrote Claudio.
“Commercial matters were handled efficiently and with real stewardship on the process. I look forward to the next project together with this team.”
Jacob Lord believes a very bright future awaits AAC as part of a group which operates from 21 locations across Europe, with ENTRO’S ambition being to build a sector market-leader by combining strong local businesses with shared capabilities and long-term commitment.
“On behalf of myself and Jack, we are delighted to have advised on this transaction, which marks an exciting new chapter for Aberdeen Alarm Company,” commented Jacob.
“The sale to an ambitious overseas acquirer highlights both the strength of the company and the continued international interest in high‑quality UK organisations.
“We are proud to have supported the team throughout the process and look forward to seeing the business thrive under its new ownership.”
