The acquisition of Adcam Fabrications by Parklands Capitalhas been shortlisted in the £10m–£50m Deal category at the 2026 Insider Central and East of England Dealmakers Awards.

KBS Corporate advised Adcam on the transaction, with KBS Corporate Director Guy Haynes advising throughout the deal.

The transaction was the second company sold by KBS Corporate to Parklands Capital in 11 months, following the sale of Laser Expertise in February 2025.

Adcam joins Parklands Capital

Founded in 2006 following a management buy-out, Adcam Fabrications is headquartered in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

The business operates from a 22,000 sq ft facility housing laser cutting, forming, specialist welding and in-house paint operations, alongside a secondary site in Rugeley focused on structural welding and large welded assemblies.

Adcam supplies components to customers across a range of demanding sectors, including nuclear and defence, rail, renewable energy and retail.

Following the acquisition, Adcam joined Parklands Capital’s growing engineering group, with plans to strengthen its capabilities and continue investing in its people and facilities.

Adcam co-owner Tony Taylor will remain with the business following the transaction and continue to support its development.

Commenting on the acquisition, Tony said:

“Adcam has built its reputation on precision, quality and the ability to evolve with our customers’ needs. Joining the Parklands Capital group will allow us to strengthen our capabilities further and invest in our people and facilities, as well as offering our customers an even broader range of high-quality manufacturing solutions.

“I look forward to working with Tony and Charlie to continue developing the business.”

A further investment for Parklands Capital

Parklands Capital was founded in 2024 by Tony Rudden and Charlie Sharman and follows a buy, build and hold strategy across the fragmented metal fabrication and laser cutting markets.

The acquisition of Adcam follows Parklands Capital’s purchase of Laser Expertise in February 2025, which KBS Corporate also advised on.

Charlie Sharman, co-founder and CIO of Parklands Capital, said:

“Adcam is an exceptional business with a track record of delivering reliable, high-quality products to demanding sectors. Tony, David and Chris have built a company with deep engineering expertise and a customer-first mindset that aligns perfectly with our strategy.

“With Parklands’ support infrastructure, Adcam will be able to expand its capabilities, invest in technology and continue offering market-leading service while benefiting from the scale of our growing group.”
